  New: European Qualification "Design and Construction in Existing Contexts"
 

An international consortium with members from Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia under the coordination of the further education institute of the Chamber of Architects Baden-Würtemberg (Germany) - IFBau is developing an attractive education program "Design and Construction in Existing Contexts".This pilot project has been funded with support from the European Commission, EU-Program "Leonardo da Vinci". The project tries to correspond with the increasing importance of the development of the existing building stock for the future of European towns and municipalities. Already in the context of the pilot project a transnational training program which has taken place in the cities of Stuttgart, Warsaw, Budapest, Bratislava and Prague was carried out. A three-step training program which is in line with all needs of further education from continuing education up to a new offer in kind of a master study is planned for the future.
