quintec Background

The EU research project quintec worked out recommendations for the improvement of vocational training in the sector of residential building renovation. These recommendations are based upon analyses of the educational situation and the situation of the reconstruction sector, in general, based on interviews with craftsmen and with representatives of the education system, based on the results of focus group discussions and on the analysis of instructive examples of residential building renovation. The investigation was carried out in several European countries with the intention of formulating a strategy on EU-level as well as formulating national strategies.
